Overview

"CQW-MR500" allows you to build the wireless internet environment easily by connecting your mobile phone or data communication terminal. This allows you to use the wide WAN service from the mobile phone and even when your internet connection is shut for some reasons, you can always maintain the online environment. It's very convenient in case you require the internet environment urgently for the short-term exhibition or urgent demonstration presentation, or even in outdoor.
 
Build wireless internet environment in various occasions
CQW-MR500 enables you to use the internet connection in various occasions. There are two options. One is to connect to the internet with mobile communication terminal. The other is to connect to the fixed line and use as high-speed wireless LAN router. Here below are some examples.

 IEEE 802.11 n/g/b supported
  It supports the next generation high-speed wireless LAN standard IEEE802.11n. Maximum throughput is 150Mbps (theoretical value). You can enjoy the stable internet connection at where you only could receive the weak signal or where you could not receive strong signal because of the obstructions. Also it supports IEEE 802.11b/g wireless standard, so it enables you to connect the IEEE802.11n standard supported PC and IEEE 802.11b/g standard supported PC at the same time.
* In order to connect with IEEE802.11n, the communication device needs to be IEEE802.11n supported as well.
 
 PLANEX Network Manager (Easy Line, Setting Navigation) Attached
  "PLANEX Network Manager" gives you the total support from recognizing the internet line to complicated connection setting. Just by clicking, it recognizes automatically the internet line and completes the internet connection setting. Also, for the connection by mobile terminal, you can select the connection plan registered in Network Manager.

 WPS (Easy Wireless Setting Function) Supported
  Because it supports WPS, you can easily complete the wireless LAN setup. If your client is WPS button installed, you can complete the setting just by pushing the WPS button in main device and also in the client. Even the customers using it for the first time have nothing to worry about because it's easy.
 
  
 
What is WPS?
WPS is the abbreviation for "Wi-Fi Protected Setup" and the standard to easily connect the wireless LAN device and complete the security setup. The wireless LAN related industry organization "Wi-Fi Alliance" decided the specification and they have started the authorization for the supported device since January 2007. The merit of the WPS supported wireless device is that customers can complete the setup between main device and the wireless client without getting bothered by the troublesome settings.
*The wireless LAN device and the client need to be WPS supported.
*Depending on the wireless LAN adapter, wireless LAN equipment, Game machine, PC, with/without the WPS button, the setting method changes.
 
 Realize the simple and compact design
  The simple design with the antenna for communication built in is used. 34(W) x 161(H) x 114(D)mm and very compact, so you don't need to worry about where you put it. 
 
 Multi SSID Function Installed
  When the users connect the devices that differs the security level like PC and the Home use game machine, they can use it after changing the security depending on the connecting device. For example, when connecting with home use game, it can be used with WEP, and when connecting with PC, it can be used with WPA2.
 
 Each Game Machine Supported
  It supports various Game Machine such as Nitendo DS/DSi/Wii, Sony PSP/PS3, Xbox360. Customers can enjoy their games by connecting to the internet with this CQW-MR500. 
 
 Guarantee the Wireless Interactive Communication Between the Products from Different Makers (Wi-Fi Acquired)
  Wi-Fi Authentication, which guarantees the wireless interactive communication between the products from different makers, is acquired. Because the strict authentication and the interactive test of Wi-Fi Alliance have passed, it guarantees the connection with the products with "Wi-Fi CERTIFIED" logo. Thanks to this, customers can bring in the wireless client from other makers without worrying anything.
 
 UPnP (Universal Plug And Play) Supported
  By making it UPnP function supported, it simplify each settings for when using the network applications. Each settings for UPnP supported application such as Windows Messenger and Windows Live Messenger, can be completed.
 
 Dynamic DNS Service Supported
  It supports the renewal function of Dynamic DNS account. By setting the information (User Name, Password, Domain Name) registered in supported Dynamic DNS service, the renewal of the registered information can be done.
 
 RoHS correspondence
  Throughout the life cycle of this product, from production to scrap, this product supports RoHS, which is to limit the usage of harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, liquid silver, hexavalent chrome, polybrominated biphenyl, Polybrominated diphenyl ether.

* If you use a browser other than fully supported browser Internet Explorer 7.0, you might not be able to setup your router correctly.
* In order to use WPA/WPA2, the connected wireless devices have to support WPA or WPA2.
* In order to use WPS, the connected wireless devices have to support WPS.
* The numeric number shown here is a theoretical maximum number and not a actual number.
* WDS bridge function is supported only identical devices
